BUTTERFLY BEACH HOTEL is located on the South Coast of Barbados in a beach and ocean front setting, with access to two white-sand beaches and a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

The hotel consists of a new 5-storey wing with both Island View and Ocean View studios and rooms and two 2-Bedroom Apartments totaling 29 units, and a newly renovated and extended 4-storey wing with 48 Island View studios, two 1-Bedroom Apartments, and one Penthouse Apartment; both wings being served by elevators. There are a further 14 newly renovated superior rooms in the existing central building for a total of 94 guest rooms. All rooms and studios now have split-system air-conditioning units, cable TV, telephones, internet access, bath or shower, safes, ceiling fans, and either two twin or one king bed (on request). We also offer connecting rooms for families. Other upgrades to the property include a seaside deck extension to the Happy Starfish Restaurant, a 3-whirlpool cluster with sundeck, and new reception area.

This is an excellent hotel for those looking for a new, well run, self-catering property in a secluded and casual beach front setting, yet located near to those all important activities and amenities.

Location

The property is close to the town of Oistins which offers shopping, banks, and local night life; including the famous Oistin's Fish Fry every weekend. It is also close to the active St. Lawrence Gap with many restaurants and nightclubs, and is on several direct bus routes to the capital Bridgetown and many other points on the island. The airport is only 12 minutes away by taxi, and Bridgetown the same.

Activities

The hotel has a large swimming pool, extensive sunning areas with loungers, and is located directly onto two white-sand beaches. Beach towels are provided at front desk. Indoors, the bar also provides a large-screen TV for those all-important sporting events and lounge seating.
